6th WVMF this year we are stepping it up.
Live Music, amazing food vendors, craft vendors, games, Willapa Brewery Beer Garden and more. Set in Willapa Valley were we are transforming an active cattle pasture into a down home music festival set along the beautiful WIllapa River.
Tucked into the rolling green of Southwest Washington, surrounded by quiet backroads and open sky, there’s a festival that feels less like an event—and more like a moment you stumble into and never forget.
The Willapa Valley Music Festival isn’t built on big stages or headliners. It’s built on something rarer: community, creativity, and a setting that does half the work for you.
Previously held in the heart of the valley at the Willapa Valley Lavender Farm, the festival brings music directly into the landscape—where fields stretch wide, the air carries the scent of lavender, and every note feels like it belongs exactly where it lands. This festival has now moved across they highway to a bigger location nestled along the Willapa River.
What started as a love for lavender and art quickly grew into something bigger.
Organizers took what could have been a traditional farm festival and transformed it into a full music experience—one that blends local talent, handmade goods, and a deep sense of place.
The result is something uniquely Willapa: a gathering that feels intentional but never overproduced, welcoming but never generic.
And maybe most importantly—it’s free.
Open to families, locals, travelers, and anyone curious enough to wander in, the festival has always been about access. No barriers. No pretense. Just music, people, and a shared experience.
If you’re expecting barricades and big crowds, you’re in the wrong place.
This is the kind of festival where:
Music drifts across the fields instead of blasting through them. Conversations happen between sets. And the line between performer and audience feels almost nonexistent.
It’s not just intimate—it’s connected.
Everything about the Willapa Valley Music Festival is shaped by where it happens.
The valley itself—lush, quiet, and often overlooked—becomes part of the experience.
Here, music isn’t separate from the environment—it’s woven into it.
Beyond the stage, the festival is a showcase of local life:
It’s equal parts concert, market, and community gathering—where the pace slows down and the focus shifts from spectacle to experience.
In a world of oversized, overproduced festivals, the Willapa Valley Music Festival offers something different.
It proves that you don’t need massive crowds or major acts to create something meaningful. Sometimes, all it takes is a field, a few musicians, and a community that shows up.
If you know, you know.
If you don’t—it might be time to discover it.
Because out here, in the middle of the Willapa Valley, music doesn’t just play.
It grows.
